What is Beauty for Ashes Homeless Villages Tennessee?

Beauty for Ashes is a nonprofit organization committed to developing supportive tiny home communities throughout Tennessee that provide safe housing, stability, and access to services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Has the first village been built yet?

No. We are currently in the planning and development phase.

Our focus is on building partnerships, securing funding, identifying suitable land, and creating a sustainable model that will support our first village.

Why tiny homes?

Tiny homes offer more than shelter.

Our vision is to create safe, private living spaces that restore dignity while connecting residents with employment assistance, healthcare partnerships, life-skills education, and long-term housing opportunities.

Who will live in the villages?

Our long-term vision is to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness, including veterans, young adults aging out of foster care, working individuals experiencing housing instability, and others in need of a safe place to rebuild their lives.

Admission criteria will be developed as the organization grows.

How can I volunteer?

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds.

Whether you have experience in construction, landscaping, administration, fundraising, mentoring, or simply want to serve your community, there will be opportunities to get involved.

How will donations be used?

Donations help move our mission forward by supporting organizational development, fundraising efforts, land acquisition, infrastructure planning, future construction, and essential resources needed to establish our first supportive tiny home village.

Absolutely.

Where will the first village be located?

We are currently exploring opportunities throughout Tennessee.

The final location will depend on community partnerships, available land, zoning, infrastructure, funding, and local support.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

We are currently completing our nonprofit organizational development. Information regarding tax-deductible donations will be updated as soon as our tax-exempt status is finalized.
